MeCAN™ Mechanical Engine sensor to CAN J1939 interface
MeCAN converts magnetic pickup and sender/switch signals into J1939 CAN data, allowing intergration of older 'Mechanical' Engines into modern J1939 CAN control and instrument systems.

Murphy CANstart™ modules give operator control and indication for the latest ECU-based, CAN J1939 engines.
Features include:
- compact 96x96mm DIN case
- manual engine start & stop by 3 way keyswitch
- translation of ECU-transmitted, J1939 engine data into panel gauge outputs: tachometer, oil pressure & coolant temperature
- indication of ECU-transmitted faults
- auxillary shutdown inputs

DISCONTINUED PRODUCT
ECD Earth Current Detector Relays
Effective immediately, the ECD range of Earth Current Detector relays (used to detect residual earth current faults) has been discontinued from production.
There is no Murphy equivalent for the ECD series, but limited stocks remain: please contact your local Murphy representative for details of stock availability.

On modern engines, the ECU is the nerve centre that controls fuelling, fault protection and communication between devices.
But the standard ECU has limits. Murphy announce the release of two products for converting analogue sender or switch/relay into standard SAE j1939 data.
- FuelCAN takes a signal from an analogue, resistive fuel level sender, and converts it into standard J1939 CANbus data, ready for use by the ECU or display equipment such as the Murphy PowerView range.
- SenderCAN is a customisable device for OEM-specific requirements.
