Float Actuated Oil Level SWICHGAGE®
These SWICHGAGE® instruments are a combination oil level sight gauge and adjustable low limit switch for small engines.
A brass float chamber provides visible indication of oil level. A screw-adjustable electrical contact is open circuit during normal operation, yet closes to ground if the oil level drops to where the float contacts the limit screw. The contact output can be used to trigger an audible alarm or engine shutdown.
