SenderCAN™
At the heart of most modern diesel engines is an Electronic Control Unit. The ECU measures engine parameters, controls fuelling and speed, and communicates with auxillary equipment.
But the ECU has limits. SenderCAN steps in where ECU input/output is scarce, or where an OEM has additional or application-specific measurement needs. SenderCAN will translate resistive sender or relay/switch signals into J1939 CANbus data.
SenderCAN uses a compact case, suitable for surface- or in-harness mounting. The epoxy-filled construction gives superior shock resistance and environmental sealing, allowing use in off-road, marine or other demanding conditions.
